Got this for only a buck at a yard sale this morning. It is missing some pieces but seems to be pretty old. It has an octagon shaped steel barrel, wood body and a small round opening storage compartment. There are a few markings on the metal parts like "Made in Spain" and the number 15965 stamped in the wood and barrel. Is it a toy or real? Time to do some research.
UPDATE: After some research/discussions today I've come to believe this rifle is an old toy of some sort. Not heavy or durable enough to be real. Value??? Let me know what you think.

What you have is a black powder 20 gauge shot gun.Spain made them to sell and trade to natives in South America.Although your missing a few parts if you found them you could probably shoot it,but I would probably take it to a gun smith first.
